Tonight, Florida, State, Florida. How important is this game? You know, I kind of, I asked it a little bit yesterday when Tom and I were talking. I want to win it. I don't want to, in any way, be little what a rivalry game is, especially one against an RPI top 10 or top 20 team.

I mean, anytime you're facing somebody where you have a chance to bolster the resume,

the game itself matters. It's important. It's not like you're playing Stetson.

But at the same time, you know, we've bastardized the series, well documented.

And I don't mean me and you or

Florida State in particular, just the powers that be a long time ago decided for whatever reason

that the kick ass, yeah, you're right. The kick ass four game is uh gone the way of the dodo so anytime

you're talking about florida state florida you're talking about a midweek game and by definition

it means you're not going to get an ace versus an ace and i always wonder whether we're on the right

side of the result or they are how much the fan base cares about it.

I think, oddly enough, when you're on the wrong side of it, the game feels heightened.

The game feels like it matters more up against all the other games.

And when you win it, you don't get the same satisfaction you

would get if you could possibly categorize it in the same way that you do when you lose it
