This was an extraordinary task force stood up by the Natural Resources Committee.

Now, if you're wondering why natural resources is because they have a subcommittee in Indian and Indian and Indian Civil Affairs.

And they actually have jurisdiction over the American territories, which as you mentioned,

Guam, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana, as American Samoa, but also the freely associated states.

And they've put together this task force, which is evenly divided, seven Democrats, seven Republicans.

The chairwoman is Congresswoman Radwiken, who is from American Samoa.

It's co-chaired by Congressman Sableau from the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana's.

Ed Case from Hawaii is also on it.

And Milan from Guam is on it.

So four out of the members are actually from the Pacific Islands.
