0:25.1	Well the Tennessee House Republican effort and successful temporarily effort to expel
0:32.1	two out of three of the Tennessee three as they are being called or the Democratic
0:38.1	state lawmakers who protested the inaction of Republicans on House floor peacefully and
0:44.9	because of their violation of the decorum rules they were expelled by Republicans in the
0:51.0	state of Tennessee the House of Representatives specifically and this has backfired
0:56.0	epically not only raising even more attention to the fact that Republicans are unserious
1:02.2	about actually solving the issues that face Americans or citizens in Tennessee more specifically
1:10.0	and of course that applies to gun violence in such a disastrous way and it's backfired
1:19.0	beyond that as well because now one of the individuals that expelled Justin Jones has
1:25.0	been reinstated to his position as a Tennessee state representative and the way that this
1:33.4	works and then we'll dive into some videos from this and some reporting on it.
1:37.3	The Nashville Metropolitan Council is the entity, the legislative body that is responsible
1:47.8	whenever a situation like this takes place a state representative is expelled the Nashville
1:53.9	Metropolitan Council for representatives that represent that area is responsible for choosing
1:59.9	who's going to be the interim representative.
2:02.6	So here they're choosing Justin Jones to be the interim for the seat he got expelled
2:09.6	from and then he will hold that until election and if he chooses to run for it I'm sure
2:15.6	he'll be able to actually get back in through that as well.
2:19.7	So a complete failure in so many different ways on the part of the Republican Party and
