Unfortunately, to my fellow New York Mets, we have a Met injury update, and it is not an April Fool's joke.

Ladies and gentlemen, the manager of the New York Mets, Carlos Mendoza.

And do you know when the nine might throw both of them?

Yeah, no, he's not going to throw.

He experienced some discomfort a couple of days ago while he was, you know, starting to ramp up.

We took an MRI again and showed inflammation.

So he got a PRP injection yesterday.

So he's not throwing for two weeks now.

So, yeah.

So we got this pushes him back probably until mid-delay May, maybe.

Yeah, that's right.

You know, he's going to go two weeks of not throwing, and then we've got to start building

him back up again.

And, you know.

That is Shaw Manaya.

Remember, Shaw Mania early in spring training had a little bit of an oblique issue. And it seemed minor. And it was, all right, we're going to shut him down for a week or two. And then he can begin spring training once he has symptom free. He was symptom free after a couple of weeks. He began throwing. And as Mandy just explained, he's been complaining about it. They gave him an MRI,

and he will be shut down for at least two weeks. So you do the math on that.

Sherman I, who's been so reliable over the last five years, not just with the Mets,

but bouncing around baseball. He may have struggled, but he would always pitch. And obviously

just got that contractor in the offseason. Best case scenario is we're talking late May.
