1983 film Stand by Me, based on a short story by Stephen King, and also played Wesley

Crusher on the TV series Star Trek The Next Generation.

Since then he's had a wide-ranging career as a writer, actor, internet personality, and all-around

celebrity geek, including a recurring role as a fictionalized version of himself on the TV show The Big Bang Theory

and will be speaking with him today about several of his recent projects,

which include narrating a new audiobook version of Anti Weirs The Martian

and hosting the Ready Room, a new after show discussing

Star Trek Picard.
