Hi everyone and welcome out to the Mormon Stories Seattle Conference.

It is great to see you all here and hopefully we'll get a few more people wondering in as things

move along. First of all I'd like to thank everyone who helped out with the planning on the planning

committee. Blaine Nelson, Garantatcher, Cheryl Bruno, Natalie Kelly, Bonita, Mingliore, and

Aaron, thanks to Aaron Brown for helping us find this great venue and to everyone who helped

just giving suggestions and all of that along the way. So thank you to all those who helped

get it together and to Open Stories Foundation and Mormon Stories for helping with our speakers and

just helping us figure out what we were doing as we were planning along. We are going to start

with a musical number by Nate Eile and Joan Morgan. So I'm going to let them come up and introduce

whatever they're doing if they want or not. So yeah, we'll go for that.

So this is a little more nerve wracking than I thought it would be, but

this is a song that I wrote about my parents, both Nate and I grew up in Mormon families and

this kind of exemplifies what I really love in them and the good things that I

that they showed me in the church had a lot to do with that.
