Several years ago, I coined the phrase “watch the fool,” because in a world turned upside down, the fool can strangely point to what’s coming and in some ways play a role in restoring order —for good or for ill. For April 2025’s patron video, now opened up to the public, I reflect on how Kanye West has continued to play this role. 0:31.4	And, you know, the purpose of saying that,
0:35.3	I think I said that in 2017, maybe, or maybe 2018, I'm not sure.
0:40.4	And so when I started saying that, what I wanted people to be able to do is to watch
0:45.9	the fool in, especially in a world that was top-de-turvy and upside down, because this is
0:52.2	a way that my brother, Mattier frames it, is that when the world
0:55.0	is upside down, the fool is the one that in some ways can give you a sign of what is coming,
1:02.0	can in some ways restore the world, you know, restore the world right side up. Now, when you say
1:06.9	right side up, it doesn't mean it's not a question of morals it's a question of a return
1:11.7	to order right how in some ways the the madness of the moment in the the fool is kind of joking and
1:18.4	turning and at the end he becomes a he becomes a victim of his own ploy and then he kind of
1:26.1	almost inadvertently restores things in the right side up. Okay. So I started
1:35.4	saying that a while ago at 2019 when I saw that I think it was 2018 or 2019 when when our certain
1:42.7	Kanye West put out an album called Jesus is King, I kind of could tell.
1:47.6	And I've been telling people to watch this particular person because he has a weird, he's like a weird tuning fork.
1:58.1	He's someone who catches what is coming. he's a kind of inadvertent mystic you
2:03.9	could say he's able to I don't think he does it on purpose but he kind of is able to sense what
2:11.9	is happening and and sense what is coming in the future and is manifesting it usually in a rather contradictory way.
2:19.6	But nonetheless, this is how his life seems to proceed.
2:25.2	It doesn't seem to always be good for his own soul.
2:28.1	But, you know, if you watch him, you can kind of see what's coming.
