1:08.2	out there really like eating a lot of the stuff that I find in general just I think that can be if you're not very very well trained very
1:16.8	dangerous and we'll talk a little bit about that probably in this episode but one of the
1:20.6	specific things that I really did enjoy about like mushroom foraging and
1:26.7	identification was like there are so many different types of mushrooms
1:30.3	and so many different like looks and feels and vibes of mushrooms.
1:35.0	And admittedly, Long Island, not a super diverse mushroom kind of area.
1:41.0	It's not as diverse as like say the Catskills are or the Pacific Northwest.
1:45.6	In case you don't know mushrooms like high altitude for the most part and also like
1:50.3	very moist weather. Not so much a thing on Long Island.
1:53.7	No, we're pretty much at sea level and while it can be moist, the moisture is filled with
1:59.2	salt, which I hear is not great for all living things.
2:03.2	Yes, that is true.
2:04.5	And there are some that like kind of sandier conditions.
