I'm your listening to watch out for fireballs. It is a games club podcast and this week we are talking about the coin game, which is a simulation game developed and published by devoted for the PC in 2019.

Yeah. Uh, this and this is a weird episode for lots of reasons. Uh, lots of fun reasons. Yeah. One, this is the first game to, uh, we always said, you know, if we did something on a drug suffering, it wouldn't mean we wouldn't do it.

I'm off. But that was a fun little deception that the boys had where we, it was theoretically, that was true, but we'd never do it.

We dangled it in front of the games that we cover on object suffering because to give them the tiniest amount of hope is the cruelest of all.

Yeah. And that's how we, we suck the energy out of their, their spines and stuff. But this game made the truck like a salmon. It has gone upstream and become a mighty dragon.

Um, uh, or a carp rather, um, the car, Sam and actually do that. They're way better than that.

Yeah, he's carp ledger. Um, Sam would just do it. They're going to get a turn in the dragons. They just, but, um, the thing is the coin game was always a guy or us.

We just, uh, you know, it's just, just, just, just a fun little weird thing. Uh, there, there are people who are listening who might not know what

Patrick suffering is. That's true. Uh, that is our comedy podcast, uh, where we use a, I quote unquote bad game as a jumping off point.

But then we just kind of joke for one half of an hour or talk about the most serious bleak shit that's ever been. It's one of the other. It is a Russian roulette.

You spend the chamber and it's either going to be like us trying to be funny or us just like absolutely doing a group therapy about the state of the world.

And there's no one. Go ahead. Yeah. There's no warning.

So that showed up on this and we were both just like, oh, this actually rules. Like this isn't bad at all. Um, and I have stuck with it.

So, you know, I was very wanted it on this, uh, the pick of short games we, we have, uh, for when we have a hole in the schedule, we have a whole schedule. This is me.

Now, uh, the other reason that this, that this is different for us. Um, and I, I kind of, I kind of like this.

Even though I can kind of see it going against the show's remit just a little bit is this is a mostly done early access game.
