Spirit's podcast. And in this episode I'm kind of picturing like, okay, it's a summer

evening, it's dark out, it's cool, but it's not cold, you know.

You look up and you can see all the stars and in the distance you can kind of hear a light breeze wrestling the reeds along the Nile, you know?

It's a kind of like beautiful night and this kind of feels like the perfect way to talk about our next Egyptian God, which is the great God Osiris.

Love it. I am so excited. You're describing like one of my favorite environments to be in and maybe a

citronella candle going at my ankles for all those mosquitoes but otherwise no

notes at all. We're talking about Osiris I hope that is a name that for you and for the

conspirators listening that sounds familiar because he is of course a very

important God to the ancient Egyptian cosmology because he ruled over probably the most well-known aspect of life or rather death, which is the Egyptian underworld.

You gotta. I associate Osiris with Reed's, is that anything?

Kind of, because like the field of Reed's is part of Duat, which is the name for the Egyptian underworld, the Egyptian afterlife, etc.

So the field of reads is probably something that your brain has made a connection between those two things.

Nice.

But Amanda, like, how did Osiris become the ruler of the underworld?

I don't know, but I bet I'm about to find out.

That is a story that we are going to dig into right off the back.
