Hello friends and welcome back to The Hamilkast.

I'm Jillian, and this is my second episode with Morgan and Nita Wood.

Morgan is currently playing Eliza on the N Peggy Tour.

She started out as Woman 5 back in 2018, so she's traveled with Hamilton for years,

playing various roles.

Last week, Morgan told me about growing up in Indiana,

performing as young as three years old.

She always had the passion for and the clarity about what she wanted to do,

even at a very, very young age.

She came from a family of creatives, performers, and what she calls artistic minded people.

Her determination led her to an internship at Chelsea,

one of the leading casting offices in the country.

There's an excellent chance they cast your favorite musical,

or play, or a movie, or a TV show, or a commercial.

Morgan learned about the business as she crossed paths with people like Lin-Manuel Miranda

who were at Chelsea just living their lives.

Auditions, meetings, callbacks, you know, the usual.

She spent months learning about the process of auditions,

so when she went in for her Hamilton audition,

yeah, at Chelsea, she felt confident and ready.
