0:48.8 | version of what boundaries generally look like but it's really useful to set those for yourself and your mind |
0:58.0 | and then use the sturdiness of your mindfulness to reinforce those and uphold those boundaries. |
1:06.1 | Now what that may look like is like looking for goals or things that you want to change in your life or things that you want to achieve. |
1:15.0 | But generally it's about some type of goal or development that you're working towards. |
1:25.0 | So you could say, I'm going to, as an easy example, I'm going to eat better this next week and you set that mindful boundary of like |
1:37.6 | okay that's what I've chosen to do and I'm going to uphold that boundary for myself. |
1:45.0 | It's weird the idea to put restrains on yourself, but it's a type of discipline that's very, very useful. |
1:53.0 | And so as like maybe the first day it's easy, the second day comes around and you know, okay, you have some dinner and then afterwards like, |
2:01.0 | hmm, I'm gonna sneak in there and grab a cookie or whatever. |
2:06.4 | And then you're like, |
2:08.7 | you recognize that happening, |
2:10.8 | that's the mindfulness aspect of it, |
2:12.3 | is you observe like okay I have the impulse |
