0:35.0	gaps in the learner's progress. If left unaddressed, behavior struggles can lead to social isolation,
0:43.2	a loss of instructional time, decreased self-esteem, and academic under-achievement. However,
0:50.5	parents and educators should know that positive behavior change is possible through proactive
0:56.1	collaboration, planning, and monitoring. This webinar will walk parents through steps to
1:02.2	take from the very first phone call about their child's behaviors to the implementation of
1:08.6	individualized strategies. Leading today's presentation is Dr. Rachel Schwartz. Dr. Schwartz has
1:15.6	worked internationally creating and supervising programs for individuals with disabilities.
1:21.5	Her work as a consultant and trainer includes training behavior analytic strategies and
1:27.6	exploring issues related to sexual education and quality of life. Dr. Schwartz has published
1:34.3	original research on these topics in special education journals and also at national
1:40.1	state and local conferences. Through toward her organization, behavior goals, Dr. Schwartz
1:47.6	taps into more than 15 years of experience, working in special education to empower students,
