She's the creator of the huge hungry girl juggernaut.

And Lisa is here to talk a bit about her new book and

recipe collection which is called Clean and Hungry. Thanks so much for joining us

Lisa. Thank you so much for having me. Now your particular genius has always been in finding ways that we can eat fewer calories without eating any less food and I have to say having tried many of the recipes from your new book you are absolutely brilliant at this.

I mean, these portions are really large, the meals are satisfying, and I'm always surprised

to see how few calories they have in them.

But this book also represents a bit of an evolution

for you, I think, since the early days of Hungry Girl

when the recipes relied a little bit

processed foods and artificial sweeteners and so on.

And now as the title of the new book suggests, the recipes in Clean and Hungry are all based

on whole and minimally processed foods.

And I'd love to hear a little bit more

about what inspired this shift in your approach.
