Welcome once more to a quite special episode of Heretics and I suppose I don't mean once more then

welcome once more to Heretics and this is a quite special episode because if it was once more then it wouldn't be that special would it? I have been

doing three episodes a week for some time. We knocked that down to two for a

little bit and then the last few months got it back up to three and I

quite liked this balance of having Monday again if you're in the UK that is or

sort of this part of the world. Monday it was an episode from Heretics.

Thursday an episode from Heretics these are quite serious, interesting, hopefully

profound person to person in,

person interviews, usually about the culture wars,

but there's going to be some more coming out

about brain hemispheres and weight and obesity and what it means to be fat in today's world and why we have a

visceral reaction to fat people, why we treat them so badly, why we have that kind of urge

to do so and what that is.

And then the Saturday, because you know, you guys know a lot of you know,

you're the audio podcast, listeners, that's who I'm speaking to now,

and I feel like I know and love you and you're a bit different to the

YouTube crowd some of you watch on both and watch and listen on both but the

YouTube crowd is very much I've got to hit certain feeling points. Sometimes that leads to,

hmm, well I suppose sensation and hyperbole,

particularly in the, um, the thumbnails and the titles which then give some people

maybe an unfair idea because this is supposed to be maybe a centrist anti-magical
