We barely got away. From fearful 77.

A few years back, I was playing football after school. I played receiver, and my friend played quarterback.

Let's call my friend, Tal. Tal and I were the perfect duo, and we're still friends today.

Back then, Tal's dad would pick us up after practice about an hour after it ended, because of work conflicts.

Tal and I didn't mind, though. The coach understood our circumstances, and let us stay on the field to just throw around until his dad showed up.

Those were good times. I remembered was a cold evening in fall, and we had just finished a long practice.

Everyone was gone, except me and Tal.

The sun had set, and it was a new moon night, so all we had for light were the lamps above that illuminated the field.

We laughed, joking around, until we heard something hit the fence surrounding the field.

With such force, it sounded like a bus had slammed into it.

Our conversation froze. The fence line was just outside the lights, so we couldn't see it.

All was quiet for a good few seconds. Suddenly, we heard my coach's voice from the darkness.

Come here, you two. I need your help with something.
