Hello and welcome to episode 37 of Comic Geek Speak. I'm Brian Deemer.

I'm Jamie Dee.

And I'm Tasha Deemer.

And we have no music or anything for you here because we are coming to you from the hotel room from San Diego, California, where we just got finished attending the very first day of Comic-com 2005.

Actually, it was our second day, but...

Well, that's true, because we had the preview night last night.

Preview, which is really cool.

Before I want you go any farther, I just want to explain my voice.

It may sound like I'm talking out of the side of my mouth, which unfortunately I am because the day before

we came to sunny St. James, I was diagnosed with Bell's palsy, which is a fundal disease

that basically is an inflammation of my nerve in the right side of my neck and it pretty much forces the rest of the right side of my face

not to work so please bear with me while we do this I you know I don't apologize but this is the way it's going to sound this for a little bit so let's go on the festivities

yeah well in the meantime it makes him makes him look half like the Frankenstein monster

and, you know, a little bit like droopy. So it's kind of an interesting combination.

Yes, he's our very own two-face.

Except I'm not crazy.

All right, well, today was a, well, first we'll start with last night.

You know, we had three hours to check out the show, and we walk in, and the room, for any of you who have never been to San Diego here, the main auditorium is so big that when you're

standing at one end, you cannot see all the way to the other end.

He's not exaggerating, folks. It's just amazing.

We walked in and Brian's like, well, wait a second, this can't be the right floor, where's, where's everything?

And we got like to the middle of it and we're like, yeah, this is, this is the main floor.
