It was very important to me and one of the real aspects of this trade that was critical for me to do the trade,

was that this trade remained secret.

If I told you in February, you're getting Kyle Hamilton a 14, what would you have said?

I'd have said no way. When the draft starts, the game

really does begin. But in the end, you've always got to pay the Piper. Welcome into the lounge

about what he was thinking heading into the draft and during the

draft. And specifically, whether I was closer to being right with my first round pick or whether

you are. And we all know what it's going to be. But I'm just saying we get it confirmed today.

Yeah, yeah. Well, look, this is a pretty rare and cool opportunity to have the chance to sit down

with a man who just made 11 picks for the Ravens.

Okay, this was a pretty historic draft for the Ravens to make 11 picks, 6th in the fourth round,

and everybody's saying that this was a great draft.

Right. Unanimously. It's not often that it's unanimous. And we made the, you know,

the comment when we did the reaction podcast Saturday night after the seven rounds concluded.

And we said, you know, it was just kind of rinse repeat all weekend.

The Ravens would make a pick and the instant reaction would be, I can't believe the Ravens got this guy who was there at that point.

And that was just the trend throughout the weekend.

And there was a clear, you know, priority to get the best available players.

And the Ravens did that all weekend long.

And that is a credit to the philosophy and the strategy that they had going into the draft.
