Thank you. Here's Paul and Shelby on this week's connecting clip of the week. So God is creator, God is sovereign, but then God is Savior.

And it is the dividing line of humanity where you look for salvation.

Everybody looks for salvation.

Everybody looks for identity.

Everybody looks for a meaning and purpose. Everybody looks for identity, everybody looks for a meaning purpose, everybody looks

for healing, redemption of some kind. Purpose. And the core message of scripture, there is only one Savior.

And so that that whole commonality of a quest for salvation

that's only ever satisfied by the one true savior is is very important that's the comforting part of

this the more confronting part of it is if you need a savior then there's something wrong with you

there's something broken yeah and that's hard for people to admit, even, especially in today's culture, like, because we

want to go inside to find the answers, go within, and find that best part about ourselves

that was with us the whole time, you know, that kind of kids movie, fantasy.

Well, and that conflicts with everything that you just said.

Yeah, and I think that, again, we want to say that this is even in the life of believers. I know of a situation where a young lady was getting to know a young man and she said to him

one one day, you know, there's some things you say to me that really hurt me. His response

was, what? You're going to try to fix me? I'm thinking, seriously? Yeah.

That's a great attitude to draw people toward yourself.
