So let's talk a little bit about, first of all, you know, we've all heard that an addiction

to sugar and flour can be as bad as an addiction to alcohol or tobacco or even cocaine.

So I want you to tell us a little bit about your story. I know that you've had an incredible

weight loss journey for yourself and how you did it. Okay, well, I'll say first of all that I'm an addiction physician.

And the reason why I am so happy to speak for you today and in other venues is because

I see in my professional world where I deal with a lot of addiction like alcohol and cocaine,

I see a lot of people struggle with

their addiction in that they put it down and their immediate solution is to eat sugar. And they'll

say to me, I can't believe I'm eating this way. I didn't used to eat this way, but now I am. And

it's always chocolate bars and it's always chips and it's always things that aren't good for me, and I just can't help myself.
