Summary

In this episode, I open up about what it feels like when God goes silent—and how that silence can shake our faith to the core. If you've ever felt like your prayers are hitting the ceiling or like you're on “read” with heaven, you’re not alone. I talk about how silence doesn’t mean absence, and how divine delays are often God’s strategy to develop us in hidden places. I also share some honest reflections, practical tools for getting through the silence, and three questions to help you get real about where you’re at: - Am I exhausted or spiritually malnourished? - Am I praying or performing? - Am I showing up to be seen or to stay aligned?

Our faith ain't fragile is what we're going to call it. And the goal is really to unpack this kind of awkward tension that we live in when we have a hope for something,

So I asked the question before, how you ever begged God for an answer and then got silence.

0:55.4

Gosh, I know I have.

And when I was younger in the Lord, I used to think it was because I had sin in my life,

1:01.8

or maybe I missed something, or maybe he was kind of trying to control the narrative by like

1:07.5

withholding from me so I would do the right thing.

1:10.3

And I was really amazed as I've

1:12.7

grown in God and spent decades serving him that that was bad theology. Like that theology

1:18.2

was not helpful because that was behavioral like modification rather than a heart and

1:24.2

relational connection. So we're going to talk about what it looks like when God is silent, but he's not absent.

1:31.1

In fact, his silence is often his strategy.

1:34.5

So I'm wondering if you're like me, if you've ever pulled the car over and you cried

1:39.3

because it felt like heaven was silent right in the middle of your crisis.

I wonder if you've ever felt
