This is 5 Minute Friday, episode number 363.

The journey is the destination.

I was recently watching a video that a friend of mine, Adam in Q, had done a few years ago

about the journey, about the impact we have on every single day, not just about when

we have arrived, when we have achieved, when we have gotten to the destination that so many

of us want to get to.

You see the journey that I have been on has had so many ups and so many downs and I have

gone places I could have never imagined on this journey.

But I keep putting one foot in front of the other, doing my best that I can do in that

moment and learning as I go on the journey.

You know, I have this clear vision of what I want to achieve in my health and my relationships

and my spirituality and my finances and who I want to be in the world.

I have this vision, but sometimes things don't go as planned.

Sometimes our vision goes off track and we develop a new vision with a new season of life.

But as long as I continue focusing on giving, being in service, lifting others up, doing

something good for someone else.

Because I believe in a dream bigger than myself, as long as I focus on doing that, I always

find that I end up right where I need to be.

And maybe it's not always the exact destination I had in mind.

Have you ever felt that before where, man, I didn't reach the destination I originally

wanted.

But wow, what a beautiful view I can see right now.
