Thanks for having me on the show today. Yeah, I am a registered dietitian. I've

been in the nutrition field for over 20 years. So it's been a long time, but a lot of changes

in the way I approach nutrition from when I started out in the field up until now, mainly in the last couple of

years that I have done pretty much a 180 from what I used to teach.

I used to teach a lot of the standard guidelines with, you know, that's how dietitians are

trained in the conventional system and in the

with the conventional nutrition methods. And after about 10 years of that and not seeing a lot

of success or progress with clients and then starting to question some of my own health

issues that I was having and kind of putting two

and two together with the standard guidelines not really benefiting me or a lot of the people

that I was working with.

I discovered intermittent fasting a couple of years ago and of course I was very resistant to it when I first started to learn about it.
