Hi, I'm John Joseph Adams. I'm the editor of several anthologies such as Wastelands

and The Living Dead and

also Fantasy magazine and Lightspeed magazine and Lightspeed magazine

was just nominated for a Hugo Award and so was I.

And I'm David Barr-Kirtley.

I'm the author of many short stories, including the Second Rat,

about a man who discovers that he could rewind time.

The story originally appeared in the Canadian science fiction magazine

on spec, and also in Meck Muse Audio magazine.

And today on the show will be interviewing Mary Roach.

She's the author of four popular science books, including Stiff,

The Curious Lives of Human Cadabbers,

Spook, Science Tackles the Afterlife, and Banc, the curious coupling of science and sex.

And her most recent book is Packing for Mars, The Curious Science of Life in the Void, which deals with some of the less glamorous aspects of space travel.
