Hey everybody. You know how every week I start with, hey everybody, we've got a great one for a change,

and then it turns out to be a particularly lame and boring show. I've been getting some

complaints about that. And the other day, I've been getting some complaints about that.

And the other day, I was out for a walk.

I was wearing my mask.

And a guy stops me and starts complaining,

why do you always say the show is going to be great for a change?

And the show turns out to be just as crappy as the last

one. And that's when I realized I should record the intro after I've done the interview

because before I record them, the intention always is to have a great one. So today I can guarantee you.

We've got a great one with Lori Garrett, the Pulitzer Prize winner for her writing on infectious

diseases, and Andy Slavitt, the former head of Medicare and Medicaid under Barack Obama, who I think

you'll agree, Barack Obama, was a much better president than the current one, who, if you

ask me, is a nut, is crazy.

Anyway, Andy is a fellow of Minnesotan and a friend and hosts of In the Bubble, a podcast from his bubble in his home in Edina, Minnesota.

And I can tell you this one, this is a great one.

Not because I've already recorded it, I haven't, but Lori and

Andy did one a few months ago that was a great one. And in fact, I think in all honesty,

the only great one I've ever done. And that was about the vaccine. And I have to say that that interview was scary because at the time, it looked like

the Trump administration was going to announce a vaccine right before the election as kind

of a political stunt.
