Over the course of this series we will be speaking with everyday hunters as they plan and prepare for a specific hunt this fall, and then we will have follow-up episode after their hunt to hear about how the hunt unfolded, the lessons they learned, and more. Today, we are speaking with Taylor from Texas. He is headed on his first elk (and bear!) hunt in Idaho this September. Not only is this Taylor's first western hunt, it is his first hunt with a compound bow. We talk about Taylor's preparation, training, gear, and what questions he has for us about his hunt.
