And that is only ONE of the terrifying statistics we learned on today’s show. Maria sat down with Callie Chamberlain, birthing doula and Optum Social Responsibility program leader, to talk about the U.S. maternal health crisis. Callie educated us on the inequality that many minority populations face from the medical system, and also shares how we all can help.
