My name is Annie Rogers, and on behalf of the Attitude Team, I'm pleased to welcome you

to today's ADHD Experts Presentation, titled Gotta Picky Eater, how to solve unhealthy

food challenges in children with ADHD and sensory processing disorder.

So I do not need to tell you that picky and unhealthy eating is a common difficulty associated

with ADHD, whether due to sensory issues, medication side effects, or some other challenge.

In some cases, the problem is not picky eating at all, but a feeding disorder, like avoidant

restrictive food intake disorder.

Explaining all of this and leading today's session will be Kelly Dorfman, a licensed clinical

nutritionist who specializes in targeted nutrition therapy to address complex medical problems.

Curier food, sorry, curier child with food, her award-winning book about the surprising

ways that nutrition impacts common childhood ailments, has been published in eight languages,

and an updated version was released early this year.

Kelly lectures internationally and has been featured on numerous television programs,

and in publications including CNN's American Morning, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington

Post, and Oprah.

She's on the advisory board of the Gateway School of Mumbai.
