0:57.5	Thank you very much for asking. I'm doing great, especially great to reintroduce our old friend,
1:04.1	Professor Elizabeth Yardley, who is Professor of Criminology, School of Social Sciences,
1:10.3	at Birmingham City University, and she's so smart Lance, she sometimes will send us
1:16.0	research papers that we just love to read, and this is what happened this time. She wrote one
1:21.8	with Laura Richards, and it's called The Elephant in the Room, toward an integrated feminist
1:27.7	analysis of mass murder, and it was a very interesting research paper, and we're so lucky to get
1:34.5	to unpack it with Professor Liz Yardley. Her papers never read as super heavy on the academia side,
1:42.8	and in this paper they're really trying to identify the why behind mass shootings and how most of
1:48.8	them, the majority of them have an origin in domestic abuse. Yeah, it's a fascinating piece of
1:54.8	work, Lance. I was blown away. I had never considered that or thought about that, and I was shocked to
2:00.0	read all that, so yeah, it's a very interesting conversation, hopefully useful info for our listeners,
2:06.1	and Liz also has a helpful website for anyone working on their dissertation, Lance. The website is
2:12.3	thedegreedoctor.com, she's on Instagram and YouTube as well. I know we have a lot of student
2:18.4	listeners, you can look up Liz and get help right from her. And I just love this about her because
