All right, here we go. Welcome in, everyone, to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter

podcast. It is currently Thursday, November 7th when I'm recording this, and I believe we'll be

releasing this a day early. Normally we release on Fridays, some time sensitive content in here. We've got a cold front

that just moved in. I mean, come on. What are we doing here? It's November 7th. We are in the

wheelhouse, so I thought I'd get this out a day early. I'm joined this week by my co-host for the

Deer Hunter Experience, Byron Horton. And we're talking about

surviving the ruts and some things that just help get you through the next couple weeks

as you'll be going hard. We'll be going hard. I've been going hard. I'm tired. Honestly, I need to

get some rest. And you'll hear in this conversation,

some strategies that we both have to just kind of keep ourselves running through these next

couple weeks as the days are shorter, but man, they hit hard. Colder weather's here and I'm

pretty advantageous to be spending as much time as humanly possible

in the woods right now but let's be real most of us all have responsibilities and still have

to get to work and take care of our families and all that good stuff so we got some tricks we've

been doing this for a while and we're sharing them here on this week,

as well as we're sharing, I killed a buck last weekend and filmed the whole thing.

So we're kind of diving in a little bit about how that happened, sharing that story.
