Why does a person find themselves devoting years and years in writing the book?

This is the book that I desperately needed when my panic and anxiety was at its worst. And I couldn't

find it anywhere. And so after years and years of teaching on this material, applying it in my own life, I decided

I wanted to make it accessible to everybody, not just people who I worked directly with my patients,

my students, but I wanted it to be available for anyone. A lot of blood, sweat, tears, edits,

deletes, rewrites. So true. And here we are on the other

side of it. And was there a particular moment in your own journey that led you down the path of

panic treatment and panic prevention and just holistic approach to panic that you've now taken.

I don't know if this is the messaging that you got when you were growing up, but I was told

that our bodies are broken and they do silly, unpleasant, and sometimes completely awful
