You've just been in South Africa, right? You've been writing this article for Harper's magazine. What were you doing there and you know what's the article about?

Well so basically how I came to this is that I

I mean as you know like I covered you know right wing guys in the US right and like

these sort of like libertarian Mormons who I wrote a book about and these

are guys who I kind of associated with being like in the vein of like American

Libertarian like away from that sort of Euro nationalist right wing thing and like talking about heritage and Norse mythology and whatever and I was like oh this is a little weird

these are guys in Utah you know they started sending me videos about farmers in South Africa and I was like oh shit these guys have gone full-on Nazi and

so I started getting arguments with them where I was like because they're saying like hey there's all these white farmers

who are being brutally attacked and

murdered and they're sending me videos you know and I'm getting videos from

Lauren Southern and all these other people who you've probably heard of and so just

on the basis of that I discounted it, right?

And then they started sending me videos about land expropriation.
