I'm doing great today, Tim. I hope everybody who's listening, hope they're doing great as

well. And we know that the guests that we have on today, we know that he's doing great

also. And did you want to join us in this feeling of greatness, Tim? How are you?

Thank you. Yes. I am feeling great. I am excited about this conversation with Dr. David

Pearlmutter, Professor and Dean, College of Media and Communication, Texas Tech University.

And we've had Dr. Pearlmutter on previously where we spoke a little bit about ethics. And

he's really interested in the decisions we make behind the scenes here. So these conversations

with him, they kind of turn into a little bit of like us sharing more than what we normally

do on the public airwaves here. Because again, he's curious. He is a professor and he has

students who he's asked to listen to his interviews on this show and some of our coverage.

And I always love these conversations with David because it's such a cool conversation.

It's less interview style where you talk about a specific case or the history of some

sort of crime that had happened. And it's more about three people exploring the process

and how it differs from mainstream media, why people listen, how we come to the decisions,

like you said, Tim, he's really interested in how we come to the decisions that we make

and do others do that as well. And if any type of episode is like a fly on the wall type

episode, it's like this. Like you can pretend like you're a fly on the wall and you're listening

to three people just kind of go through a process and sort things out. And he finds it super

interesting because of the courses that he teaches. And he's able to take something from

those conversations, those interviews that you're hearing and he brings them back to his
