Hi everybody it's Joe Lample the Joe behind Joe Gardner and welcome to the

Joe Gardner show a little while back I was contacted by someone that I have

been a fan of for as long as I've been listening to the podcast in which she is a regular

panelist on the very popular Gardner's Question Time radio show and

podcast and commonly referred to simply as GQT. It's a weekly show produced by the BBC and the UK

and horticulturist and landscape architect Bunny Guinness, my guest today is a 25 year regular on the show is one of three expert gardeners and

horticulturists who field live questions from their audience each week as they travel

the UK to record each episode.

And what I find so impressive about this show is first of all the knowledge of the panelist.

While each tends to have an area of expertise, They are all able to answer each question at a level of depth

that you rarely hear elsewhere and what makes that even more impressive is they never have

advanced notice of the questions.

They are hearing them live just like we are.

I think of Bunny and her fellow panelist

as the guardian equivalent of the Navy's top gun pilots.

And yeah, maybe that's a little extreme,

but that's the way I think about it.

Plus their funny, quick-witted nature

and the playful banter between them

makes for a consistently winning formula and if that weren't enough

Bunny Guinness is also a six-time gold medal winner at the world-renowned Chelsea Flower show
