Now here's this week's connecting clip of the week.

I think the other element that was a play, you know, I was raised in a church tradition and a faith tradition that would acknowledge three persons of the Trinity,

but really only talked about two very often. And the Holy Spirit was God, but was not mentioned,

not really discussed. There was a, almost a fear of going too far and thinking about or talking about the Holy Spirit.

And I had a friend a few years ago describe some of what we're talking about to have the head but not the heart with the layers of

different church traditions being in the church traditions that focus heavy on scripture

the church traditions that focus a little more on sacrament and the church traditions that focus

more on the Holy Spirit. And if you play that out, you know, let's say your team scripture,

you're going to neglect maybe sacrament as a means of grace as a way that God physically and

spiritually and mysteriously meets you,

you're certainly going to downplay the role of the spirit because it's the head that counts.

It's scripture that counts.

Or if you're team sacrament, you take the two instituted sacraments of the Lord Jesus, and it becomes this kind of

rote thing, and there's no liveliness, but there's also maybe not a full teaching of

the scriptures and a full disciplining there.

And then there's kind of the spirit-, you know, we say spirit led churches.

Everything is about your experience and your emotions. But in the church world and I think in our
