Summary

This is our last episode in our melodies of faith series.Today, we take a closer look at the hymn "Be Thou My Vision." Kids will hear about Patrick whose life inspired this hymn. We’ll learn what it means to ask God to be our guide in everything we do and how we can trust Him to lead us every day.

1:12.0	This hymn was inspired by Patrick's life. You've probably heard about
1:17.1	him. When you think about this man, maybe you think of green or shamrocks, but there is so much more.
1:26.8	Let's begin our story here with him. A long, long time ago, and a land filled with green hills and forests, there lived a boy named Patrick.
1:44.0	Patrick was just like any other kid.
1:47.0	He played outside, laughed with his family,
1:51.0	and enjoyed his home where he lived in Britain.
1:55.0	But one day, something terrible happened.
2:00.0	When Patrick was only 16, pirates came to his town.
2:04.0	Ahoy!
2:06.0	These pirates took Patrick far away
