I like the symmetry chuck, you don't often hear red and purple used in the same sense.

You know, I had noticed that until you pointed it out, but that is true.

And this is an actual statement that our guest, coach Bill Courtney, actually said this

was the red carpet in Austin or was it at the Academy Awards?

He was going to Austin to see, I think, the premiere of the documentary in which he stars

a film called undefeated that he didn't, in his words, really realize he was in, at

least not to the extent that he is.

Bill Courtney got kind of famous a few years back, featured in a documentary called

Undefeated, one in Academy Award.

It is a great film.

I can recommend without reservation that you give it a look, whether you like documentaries

or not.

This is such a great story of a team in Memphis, a high school football team called The Tigers,

who was like 4 and 96 over a 10-year period.

And then Bill Courtney got a hold of him and did that magic thing that certain coaches

can do and transform them into a winning team and change some lives.

And you know what, man, you know me, I'm not a particularly earnest fellow.

And this is a very earnest documentary.

But if you don't cry at this thing, man, you know, you're made of stone.
