who's discovered some incredible sort of overlaps

that have sort of changed his life

as far as how he approaches guitar.

And that overlap is the way that classic metal sort of parallels with flamenco. Man, just wait till you hear the story of the crazy life-changing event that happened to Ben,

that turned him from an electrified rock and roll metal player into a flamenco wizard.

Ben plays a ton of guitar.

That's him on his Cordoba Spanish guitar, nylon string. In your face, we go to Cordoba headquarters in Santa Monica.

I mean, I'm always amazed not only at how many fantastic guitar players there are in Southern California,

but also how many fantastic guitar companies and headquarters and distribution centers

there are.

And yes, beautiful facility in Santa Monica.

We're in somebody's office.

We open the windows and we're just chilling and we're going to hang out and play a ton of

guitar.

That has been doing his surf medley for you because he noticed that not only is flamenco guitar similar

in energy and in harmony and melody to classic metal, it's also similar in those ways to surf rock.
