So your emotions are a problem during trauma. They have to leave and go off somewhere.

Then you're behaving only instinctively and you're surviving.

And then what happens is they get used to having their motions away and then they build this protective

insulation sort of vibe like you mentioned that you had to kind of just get through life.

And that is very isolating and it creates an environment of

disconnection and we're not connected to ourselves or anybody. You know we can go

through the motions we can have relationships and stuff but it's never really truly intimate and we see other people with intimate relationships and we try to understand like what are they doing that I'm not doing I don't get it.
