And this week we are talking about Left for Dead 2, which is a first-person shooter developed and published by Valve for the PC and Xbox 360 in 2009. Yeah, and we're gonna do about 45 minutes of lightstick about confusing it being Left for Dead T-O-O as well. So yeah, so you're gonna do Left for Dead 2. What else are we gonna do, Cole?

Who is the unlikely name of Left for Dead 2? Please give me my money. Yeah. So because of the generosity of Valve, we're gonna be talking about Left for Dead 1 content as well. This is one of those sequels that entirely obviated the original and then grew to contain it like a virus or a blob that took it over. Yeah, just a concentric circle that grew around the original one.

Like a sourdough starter. That was a weird time for games and developers to be doing stuff like that. I mean, that's right around the same time that Rock Band came out and did basically the same thing. Pay a little bit extra. And boom, most of the songs from the first Rock Band are in Rock Band 2. No problem.

I can't understate how much I can't overstate how much good will that bought for me. Oh my gosh. Like as an idea. Just like that's that's fucking incredible. Oh, you view makers are really good people. Little did I know.

This is I think, you know, kind of a bit more of a self-contained thing that is easy to get. However, this is made by Valve. So it has a lot of people who have been very dedicated to tracking all of the minutia and changes over over time.

Additionally, there is like weird quarter case permutations of mechanics, interacting with each other and a lower tidbits. We're not going to cover everything on this. And, you know, almost by necessity, there is going to be some kind of a mission. If you feel that you're the kind of person who will be annoyed by that, understand that this is going to be to some degree, a kind of a survey course.

Yeah, like chief among like those things. I think the thing that will mostly do it is I for somebody who has put a lot of time into this game. I'm not very good at it.

I'm not very good at multiplayer shooters. Like this is one of the ones I like. Yeah. But I'm not good at it.

I've watched a lot of high level play. I have participated in zero amounts of high level play. I occasionally get a good, you know, infected team.

Strike or pull off a really good move, but I'm not good at it. Yeah. What I don't want is for somebody to hear me say, like, oh, I like the M16 and then get like so angry that they pop a blood vessel and drive into a bridge in bank mitt.

Like, how dare you? That's just qualifying that you like the automatic fire weapons. Yeah.

Yeah, the M16 point back with the M17. Did you know that the M in M16 stands for assault rifle? Yep. Yeah.

So the clips into the magazines and fire go fires the clips. Yeah. Yeah. You shoot off the clips.

Yeah. Yeah. So this is the high level thing. High level concept. This is a cooperative multiplayer shooter, a four B four B four.
