podcast is in general is retirement. I talk a lot about financial independence and early retirement.

We're going to get into some of the nuts and bolts of using rental properties as a retirement

strategy. Specifically, I'm going to get into my own rental retirement strategy.

And I also kind of jokingly call this the plan for how not to run out of money.

If you're thinking about retiring earlier than normal, I'm sure there's a little bit of fear

about, you know, what do I do once I have to transition and actually live off of this money?

So as anything important, anything else important, it's nice to have a plan. And I had personally been working on

my own plan kind of roughly in my mind, not very particularly in writing for a while,

but I was inspired by a couple of fellow bloggers who actually put their own plans, they call them

their withdrawal plans, into writing.

One was Physician on Fire.

And you can find him at physicianonfire.com.

And another guy was named Fritz from the retirement manifesto.

So they sort of started a trend among a lot of our blogger friends in the financial independence

circles to write down what their strategy is to live off of their money once they got to

retirement.

So I felt, and a lot of those plans were actually had nothing to do with real estate.

A lot of them were talking about withdrawal strategies of stocks and bonds and annuities,

different things.
