Welcome to the Simple Farmhouse Life Podcast. This is, what is it, episode 33?

How is everyone doing out there? It's been a long month or long several weeks. I don't even know how long I spent at this point. We had a little bit of excitement today at our house, which is from a sad story, but there has been a cat running around at my parents feed store.

It had five kittens three weeks ago. Well this morning when my parents got to work they noticed that there was a cat on the road that had

been hit by a car and turns out it was the kitten's mother and so my mom saw

that there were five little kittens that were all very hungry because they're

obviously nursing so we went up there and my sister went up there and we both took

home she took home three and I took home two and we have baby cats here in the kitchen.

So if you hear any little meows, that is what that is and the kids are of course really excited

about it because we are bottle feeding cats now.

So that is the newest addition to the farm.

It just goes with a farm I think having cats running around. We always did as kids

But I do want to take them in for some surgery because I don't want a million cats

running around this house nor do I want to feed that many cats.

But today I want to talk about how I turn my blog into a full-time business.

This is something that is a big part of our story. Two years ago,

my husband came home from his job or at least two years ago next month it'll be now.

And we are doing this blog thing as a full-time gig and I'm just going to

share that story because it's a job that I think will be more common in some form

in the future but right now it's still something I get a lot of questions about

how does that work, how do you get paid, how can you creating content online be your full-time business.

It's interesting and it is something near and dear to my heart so I thought

I would share it.
