Summary

Chris and Laisie have plans to go full-time with their Amazon business very soon and leave behind their corporate careers! They started out by attempting to build their own private label brand about 18 months ago on Amazon, but after spending far too much time, energy and money on a course and training they decided it was time to look for a better way and that's when they found this podcast!

They jumped into our coaching program just a few short months ago, as well as the ProvenAmazonCourse.com course and now business is booming because they are doing things the way we teach (no big investments needed, inch deep-mile wide product selection, put cash in the bank instead of wasting cash on tools etc.)

In this episode you'll hear how they manage to squeeze all those great results into what little time they have (they also have a 10 month old baby!)

Today's episode is audio only because we had a special request from our guests who actually still both have full-time jobs.

And they didn't necessarily want it getting back to their bosses that they're very excited about potentially going full-time jobs and they didn't necessarily want it getting back to their bosses that they're

well and they're super excited at the prospect of working from home as a couple building their e-commerce

business. I love their story and you're going to hear them tell it in their own words. In a moment,

I'm going to turn the microphone over to them, but I'm recording this after the interview.

But I love their story because they're yet another couple that dove into Amazon with the false belief based on everything that they've heard on YouTube primarily, that the way to get started was to sell private label products.

Find your own product. Find a niche. And they experienced as the vast majority of other people who go down that road

experience they've figured out that wow that's expensive it takes a lot of time and

1:17.0

the failure rate is very very high you basically dig a big hole and then try to dig

1:23.9

your way out of it is that model you spend a a lot of money up front, research, tools,

1:28.1

software training courses, time, effort, energy, sweat, tears, a garage full of product, and hopefully

1:33.9

someday you start making money. That's not a model that we teach. We teach a far simpler model with

less risk. You put money in the bank before you start spending money with our model,

and they've had tremendous success just a few months in with our program. So with that introduction,

I'm going to turn the microphone over to Chris and Lacey for this audio-only episode. And if you

didn't realize it, when I say audio-only, that's because many of our episodes are also on YouTube. There's a link to that in the show notes today, as well as links to all

the other resources that we're going to mention. So you can reference that very easily as well.

Just go to the show notes at silentjim.com slash podcast, and you'll see links to any acronyms
