Welcome back to the show. Today's episode is part two with Billy Hamilton. In part one, we discussed

Billy's early travels to Kauai in the 60s, meeting a toddler-aged Laird on the beach at Rocky Point,

and then shortly thereafter, wooing his mother. He also told us about surfing pipeline naked in the middle of the night and living with bunker

freckles when he inherited $100 million.

So we actually covered a ton of ground in that episode.

And today we cover a whole lot more.

Bill is fantastic. He's actually lived a very,

very interesting life and does a fantastic job communicating it. So thrilled to be able to close

out this Kauai series with Bill. He's actually still building boards on Kauai. So you can find

order a surfboard from him. I often think about how many kind of early pioneering icons are

actually still around and still building boards from Dick Brewer to Jerry Lopez, and you can still order boards

from them, and I think that'll be something that future generations wish that they had the
