Welcome friends to episode number three two three of the way I heard it. This one is called

0:07.9

Reguflation and the right to try. Yes, Chuck, it's true. I went and made up a word and

0:14.6

God willing, we'll shoehorn it into the lexicon with a little help from this podcast.

0:20.5

I think it's a good word, Mike. It obviously obviously is a combination of the word regulation

0:26.9

and the other word inflation, putting them together to form regulation, which says that these

0:33.0

two things combined are worse than one thing by itself. Indeed they are. And these two things

0:38.8

are probably the top two enemies of Americans for prosperity. And we'll be talking about

0:47.7

that in the next hour or so. My guest is Akash Chogli, who's way up the food chain

are simply attempting to try to make a living in whatever legal way is possible. And as many

1:32.0

of you know, we sort of dance around this topic a lot, freelancing, an individual's right

1:39.3

to earn an honest living as a freelancer. It's a topic that keeps coming back up because

1:44.6

this pro act is now in Congress and making its way through those hallowed halls. And rightfully,

1:52.2

I think Chuck, scaring the hell out of a lot of people who are simply trying to make a living,

1:57.4

nearly 70 million people freelancer right now being affected by this thing.

2:02.1

Well, they will be terribly affected if it becomes law. Right now, you know, the pro act is basically

2:08.8

AB five on steroids. And to hear Akash talk about it, he says, if it is passed, it's going

2:14.9

to be even worse than AB five is in California. And we can't have that happen.
