Summary

When we trust in Jesus to forgive us from our sins, we no longer need to fear the judgment of God. At the same time, our relationship with God is designed to be marked by love, reverence, and awe which leads us away from doing anything that would dishonor Him.

Moses said to the people,

0:11.0

Do not fear, for God has come to test you that the fear of him may be before you

0:17.7

that you may not sin. All right just make sure you get the context here. This is right after God gives his people the 10

1:38.9

in victory over sin and death, so that we can be saved from our sins not by our obedience but by our

1:46.4

faith by our trust in Jesus so in that sense when we trust in Jesus to

1:51.2

forgive us of our sins we turn from our sin and trust in him, we repent and believe,

1:55.7

we no longer need to fear the judgment of God.
