How did you end up becoming one of the best DJs in the world over the last 35 years? That's a nice compliment, isn't it? I'm the best. Because I was there in the big sort of heyday like 91, 92. That was when the whole country was into raving. When you created a churn on a ragged tip, did your world completely change in 92? It just exploded. It was mad life from growing up watching Top theopops. So then, you know, the tune charting. That was it. We got a phone call. Oh, right. You wanted for Top the Pops this week. Oh, fuck, you know. Travel all over the place. Went to Australia, Japan, all around Europe and playing that stuff. And it was, you know, all sort of top of the game with that give me some of the

suppose would be the biggest one you've got an amazing reputation over the last 30 or years

like you've lasted what over 35 years yeah that's still top of your game why do you think you've

lasted so long?

I could actually say it goes back from being a kid.

I was fascinated with tunes.

Like from a really early age,

like from before I could even walk, I think.

My mum said I used to crawl along and put records on, you know, them old box record players, your old mono things,

put the records on and then click the automatic button and then bosh.

But yeah, I was always fascinated with music.

So all through my sort of growing up years, I just wanted to, you know, play records,

mum, mum, play records.

My brother-in-law's brother-in-law was a mobile DJ, sort of probably when I'm sort of

10 or 11.

I managed to get myself out with him a couple of times.

Things like wiring up the speakers and just having two decks there and all that.
