You're called to leave the ordinary world, your current job perhaps, or how you live in your life,

and you got to go out into the forest. That's the hero's journey's first phase. Then you get a guide.

Harry Potter got Dumbledore. Then you get buddies, Hermione and Ron. Then you go conquer your dragons,

metaphorical and real. And you're going to get dragon scars, you know. It's going to be hard. It's not supposed to be easy. You win and you learn and you're gonna get dragon scars, you know? It's gonna be hard.

It's not supposed to be easy.

You win and you'll learn and you're win and you learn

and hopefully you'll come back.

It's what makes the movie interesting.

If the hero gives up in wines

or is just sitting there on a beach,

you'd walk out of the movie theater.

But all the fans who are listening to this and my newsletter audience know that for a long time I've been talking about. I'm a fan of heroic. I'm a fan of

this concept of Aratee and Aristotle and the Stoics. And I was like, I knew it was a long time ago, but man, 20 years ago, you've been a coach for me and you've been inspiring me and helping me out.
