positive energy. And we'll be speaking with her today about her new book Crash

Test Girl, an unlikely experiment

in using the scientific method to answer life's toughest questions.

Hi, how you doing?

Good, good.

Okay, and so your new book is called Crash Test Girl.

So how did this book come about? Well, you know, I've never written a book before and I'm always in for an adventure so I thought I'd give it a try.

There was some sort of bet, right?

I so you heard about that.

So I was sitting at a bar with a bunch of random, very crazy characters and one of them

was Homer Hickam who wrote Rocket Boys, which it became October

Sky with Jake Jillinhull later and he basically like double-dog daring me to write a

book and I was just like no you're an author I don't do that that's that's
