The last proper episode of this Whopper series

Thanks so much for joining me and thanks so much for

supporting this show as well because since we started this series basically four-ish years ago

it's been a wild ride. We've gone from 1618 to 1648. Maybe it didn't require 82 episodes, but I think

that the 30 Years War deserved this level of coverage. And I'm happy that as far as I can tell,

it's the most in-depth coverage in audio format that this conflict has ever gotten. So, thank you for joining me

for it. Normally, I'd open the episode by saying thanks to someone on Patreon, but instead of

thanking someone individually, I'll just thank you all, because really, I've only gotten this

far thanks to you and your support, and it kind of boggles the mind that in a few

months I'll be handing in the dissertation, the big 100,000 word behemoth that's been eating

my life over the last four years, but yeah, we're nearly done and it's kind of poetic that

just as we're nearly finished, the PhD, we're also finishing up
